January Term in Havana, Cuba

Each January, Hollins students are offered the option of an intensive 3 1/2-week Spanish language experience at The Center for Cross-Cultural Study in Havana. This 3 1/2 week term is designed to be taken on its own or as preparation for the Spring Semester Program.

If you can’t get away for a full semester, short-term programs are the best option. Courses offered at all levels of Spanish, in most disciplines: general Spanish language, Spanish for the professions, literature and history, business and economics, education and health sciences, social sciences, and more.

CC-CS Winter programs are all-inclusive programs and include sponsored excursions to places such as Old Havana, the Museum of the Revolution, Farmers' Markets, grassroots community centers, jazz, salsa and hip-hop concerts, Cienfuegos province and the colonial city of Trinidad.
